We all wear many hats. For me, some have been NGO project manager, French lecturer, au pair, mom of three homeschooled boys, immigrant, volunteer, literacy promoter, counselor, translator, and chicken lady. Now I'm a dancer and knit my writer's hat, one stitch at a time.

As it happens, under our hats lives a child.

Mine feasts on sunsets and thrives around trees and books, chasing ideas like butterflies.

Some unfrequently asked questions about me here . . .

The Imprint

Arreboles is a beautiful word in Spanish that describes the warm colors at sunset.

Under a flaming evening sky, my younger self heard the word arreboles from my grandma's lips,
and I fell in love with words.

We are a team of husband and wife.

Ruben and I work together

making books.

Fun!
